Have you checked out this alternative automotive web-world?

Hooniverse Home PageWhat happens when you create an automotive website that combines the humor sensibilities of the old National Lampoon with intellectual rigor of, say, The Wall Street Journal? Then populate it with a talented crew of anarchists and misfits--some of them refugees from Jalopnik.com, and even Automotive Traveler's own Jim Brennan--all dedicated to the proposition that the automobile is merely a jumping-off point for occasionally inspired flights of fancy and silliness, with the occasional break for a moment of seriousness? Well, I don't know either, for sure, but something pretty darned close to the mark might be Hooniverse.com. When you enter its slightly crazed confines, don't expect to find normal stories about conventional cars or ordinary people. These folks may make you laugh, or irritate you, or send you looking for a bucket of tar and feathers, but they will NOT bore you. Have a peek-a-boo yourself, like this blog on a Mustang Bullitt-powered Aston Martin DBS, the same as was featured in the 1969 Bond flick On Her Majesty's Secret Service. The site is now my daily dose of automotive surreality--I've come to expect anything here.
