On April 17th, 1964, the pony car revolution began when Ford's Mustang went on sale. To say that things have never been the same would be a gross understatement. With the 2010 Mustang now reaching showrooms, and the Pony Car wars reignited with competition from the Dodge Challenger and Chevy Camaro, there has never been a better time to look back and celebrate the cars that have been integral parts of the Mustang legend. Over the last 45 years there have been many memorable Mustangs, and I've had the opportunity to photograph many of them for publication as well as the sheer pleasure of looking through the viewfinder. And because Mustangs have played such an important part in so many memorable films, I thought that any album of Mustang images would be incomplete without photos from "Goldfinger" and "Bullitt," so several of my favorites are included.
